We believe land ownership should be available to more people, not just those with a large cash balance. Lake Placid Lands helps everyday buyers explore a path to owning land through off-market opportunities and owner financing — with honest guidance, not a sales pitch.
What we do
You tell us what you're looking for and what you can afford. We find owners selling off-market land in Lake Placid and Highlands County and connect you with them directly. Owner-financed options are available, with terms set by each seller. Our matching service is free to buyers.
A place in your wealth-building plan
Land can be part of a long-term plan: a future homesite, space for your family or an asset to hold. You don't have to start with a huge purchase. Start with a budget you can sustain, understand the property and compare the full cost of owner financing, including interest, taxes and fees.
Owning land does not guarantee appreciation or income, and selling it can take time. We encourage you to check zoning, access, flood risk and title before committing, so your purchase fits your life as well as your financial goals.
What we don't do
